i'm taking a painting break these days and trying to read more. has anyone read Teachers Have It Easy by Dave Eggers et al? sounds interesting. i've just started The Death of Artemio Cruz by Carlos Fuentes and will probably start reading The Karma of Brown Folk by Vijay Prashad later tonight. anyway, i'm a big book fiend and am constantly shoving books at my friends, so here are some of my recommendations. starred entries are my most highly recommended books of ALL TIME, so check them out!!!

    Ooooo! The Dave Eggers book is going to be ordered in just a minute! I didn't realize that one existed, so thanks for the scoop. Thanks for the list of other books too. I'm always looking for something good to read, so I'm going to pick up some of the ones listed. Gotta wait until the end of the month, though.

    Off the topic, let me know if you ever have any art displayed in SoCal. I feel like you mentioned San Diego or LA might be a possibility one of these days, and if so, I'd love to go see the exhibit! You are truly a talented artist!
     
    Garcia Marquez, Chomsky, Neruda...you have great taste! Tell me how like the Carlos Fuentes book (La Muerte de Artemio Cruz) which I learned to appreciate greatly!
